There is no formula to avoid pain, suffering, or distress, as it is in the world all around us. Yet even Jesus experienced the same.
The only solution is Jesus, not anything I can do.
The pain may never leave, or, at best, we will get a season without it, but be assured it will return.
Jesus will give us strength and comfort in the form of peace and even joy in the midst. He never promised to eliminate pain this side of heaven. He did promise to be with us in it.
The biggest lie is that we think we can do something about it apart from Jesus.
