13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

- Money
- Food
- Power
- Affirmation
- Anger
- Myself
- Gossip
- Scarcity
- Hurry
- Busyness
When I wake, I walk into a world that is filled with the list of temptations. These are available 24/7, 365 days a year. The lie is that I must choose one, as if there is not another list to pick from. So I go about my day fending off the temptations as I seek God’s strength.
But what if there is another list that looks like this?
- Love
- Joy
- Peace
- Patience
- Kindness
- Self-control
- Grace
- Mercy
- Forgiveness
- Serving
- Generosity
- Purity
- Simplicity
- Gratefulness
- Confidence
- Trust
- Contentment
- Abundance
- Others
If I choose to pick from this list, then I will go about my day seeking God’s strength to engage in my choice. The funny thing is, this list is also available 24/7, 365 days a year.
