Who knows? Why dread this day? Is there any reason that I should not find joy in this day? I know this day will have trials, some big, some small, yet I know of none too big that Jesus didn’t already overcome. So, if I look a little closer and slow down the pace a bit, I will see the world of God as He sees it.
I will smell the fresh air. I will be amazed by His sunrise and sunset. I will walk in the sunshine, study cloud formations, and attempt to count the stars. Each person I come across brings with them a story of uniqueness and opportunity. Colors and smells abound, trees grow heavenward, flowers brighten the landscape, creatures roam, and birds fly freely.
Today is an experiment to be tested, an adventure to be explored, and a journey to be sought. Who knows where it will take me, for I may plan my day, but God will determine my steps. Should trials come, I will just hold tighter to the hand of God that has gripped mine. In the end, this day will come and go, but who knows where it will take me.
I must get up now from my bed and see.
